Genesis 30:43
"Thus the man increased and became exceedingly rich, and had many sheep and goats and maidservants, menservants, camels, and donkeys."

Slobodan & Ljiljana KrstevskiThis chapter is about Jacob, the son of Isaac. He went north from where his father lived at that time. He went to his uncle, Laban and worked for him in order to marry Rachel. But this father-in-law deceived him and gave him Leah. Jacob worked for seven years to have Rachel, but Laban deceived him and gave him Leah instead. So Jacob had to work another seven years in order to marry Rachel, the wife that he wanted. Even though Jacob was working there faithfully, Laban was always cheating him.

When Rachel, the wife that he truly loved, became pregnant, Jacob decided that it was time for him to establish his own home. So he asked his father-in-law to pay him for the work that he did, and Laban only gave Jacob a few animals. That's what Laban paid him with. But the Lord favored Jacob. The Lord made sure that Jacob was blessed wherever he turned.

Jacob decided to mate the animals that he had, and those animals started multiplying. They continued to multiply until Jacob had more animals than his father-in-law, Laban. This verse says that Jacob "increased and became exceedingly rich..." He didn't become increasingly rich overnight. He became increasingly rich through his own wise and prudent work, through employing the actions that would help him to get there. His success happened in time.

Learn from those who are successful with their money. Start doing what they are doing to make and save your money. Take those principles that they are applying and implement them into your own life and you will be successful as well. If you start saving a little bit at a time and invest your savings, you'll produce, grow, and develop. Remember to spend less than what you make. Invest the difference and watch that money multiply. The key things to remember include giving your tithes to the Lord, spending less than what you make, and putting the difference into investments that will work for you. When you do those three things, God will make sure you increase and become exceedingly rich.
