WORDS ARE BACKED UP BY ACTIONS

"Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it."
This is God speaking to the prophet, Jeremiah. God tells Jeremiah that He is going to watch over His word and perform it. In other words, God will ensure that what He says will happen. How can He ensure that? Well it says that God is alert and active. God is aware of all things, and He's always at work in our lives. That's how God wants us to be as well. That's why we have to be careful of what we speak. Don't just speak any nonsense. Our words should always line up with the Word of God. God is watchful. He is alert and will be active to make sure that His Word will come to pass.
So when you and I align our speech to what God says, we know that what we have spoken will happen. When you are in a difficult situation, don't speak negatively about your situation. Ask yourself what God would say about that situation. Then speak what God would speak. When you speak the Word of God, your situation will begin changing for the better. God will give you wisdom on what actions to take to improve your situation. That's why it is so important to fill your heart with God's Word. It says in Matthew 12:34, "…for out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks." So fill yourself with His Word because when you speak the Word of God, God is going to ensure that His Word will come to pass. He is alert. He is active, and He is going to do what He said He would do.
That's a powerful promise that God has made. It's powerful because you will be powerful too when you start speaking what God speaks. But your speaking also needs to be backed up by your actions. If you really want something to happen in your life, and you speak it with confidence, then you're going to be active to perform it, similar to how God is active to perform His words. So back up what you say through what you do.
Your actions will determine whether or not you really believe what you speak. For example, if I was to say, ‘I believe this chair can hold me,' but I refuse to sit down on it because I'm afraid the chair is going to break, then it's obvious that I really don't believe what I just spoke. Sitting on that chair will really show that I believe what I spoke. It's the same thing with the Word of God. What really shows that you believe God's Word is when you begin to do what the Word of God says. That will prove your faith in the Word of God.
Speaking from the fullness of your heart means that you believe what you have spoken; therefore, you will act upon it. Whatever your heart is full of is what will come out of your mouth and it will show through your actions. There is no such thing as a heart that is half full of God. Your heart is either full of God or it's not.
God's heart is in everything He says. So He will always fulfill what He has spoken. That's why you and I should always speak what God says. No matter what, it is better to speak the Word of God than to speak your situation. Prophesy over your future. Prophesy the things you want to see happen in your life. When you speak what God says, this Scripture says that God is alert and active. He is watching over His Word to perform it.
