GOD SPEAKS AND IT HAPPENS

"The Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord's hand (His ability and power) become short (thwarted and inadequate)? You shall see now whether My word shall come to pass for you or not."
This is actually a debate between God and Moses. It happened because the people of Israel were complaining. They were complaining that they were hungry and wanted meat and there wasn't any meat in the desert. So Moses went to God and told Him about the people's complaining. So God told Moses that He was going to give them meat. For a whole month, they would eat nothing but meat until they were satisfied and vomited it up violently [verse 20]. But Moses questioned God and asked Him where this meat would come from. They were in the desert; there weren't any flocks or herds to be killed to feed all the people. Moses questioned God's ability.
Then we come to verse 23 where it says, "The Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord's hand (His ability and power) become short? You shall see now whether My word shall come to pass for you or not." In other words, everything God speaks is going to happen regardless of what it is He says. It doesn't matter how impossible the situation looks, if God spoke something, that word will come to pass. God speaks to the impossibilities of man and makes them possible.
So let God speak into your life, into your heart, and into your spirit. Let Him speak what He wants to say to you. When He does then those things, which He has spoken will happen. But don't go to God in complaint. As you read the Word of God, personally develop a relationship with God and let God speak into your heart. As you read His Word, have an attitude of prayer and ask God to reveal His plans and purposes to you.
Say to God, "Lord, when I read Your Word, speak into my spirit what You want me to hear. Give me the understanding that You want me to have, and give me a willing heart to do what You say." Praying that prayer is so powerful because what God speaks will happen.
Sometimes people have troubles understanding what God is saying. A lot of the times, it's their own will. Some people would say, "God wants me to marry this person. God wants me to buy this house. God wants me to buy this car." But if it's really just their own will, then they may end up marrying the wrong person, buying the wrong house or car and being loaded with debt. So you have to be careful with those kinds of decisions.
So make sure you read the Word of God. Make sure you hear what God is telling you. Then listen to what God has told you and follow His leading because everything God says to you about your life will happen.
